Welcome to the Basics Of Peaceful Weight Loss. This course is designed for those looking to change their relationship with food and ultimately lose weight.
Based in yoga, Peaceful Weight Loss is different from diet fads and other programs because it takes a holistic approach to weight loss using the combination of yogic guidelines, lifestyle changes, and a sustainable diet.
This 6-week, prerecorded course is taught by Dragonfly Yoga owners and Peaceful Weight Loss certified instructors Joe Simek and Alexis Ridge-Simek. The course serves as an introduction to the Peaceful Weight Loss program, which includes the yogic practices and lifestyle changes that will jump start your weight loss journey.
Instead of starting with radical food changes that are not sustainable, our program focuses first on mental states and lifestyle modifications which make incremental food changes easier -- and help them stick!
You can start this course anytime, and each week a new lecture will become available to you. This timeline allows you to move through the content at a sustainable pace, giving you the time to try the assigned practices and tasks so you can create real change.
Originally recorded live, this course gives you a step-by-step introduction into the principles of Peaceful Weight Loss. It also features real discussions around these concepts that will deepen your understanding and have you laughing and smiling along the way.
Each week includes yoga practices including movement, breathing, meditation and yoga nidra.
