Why This Course?

Autoimmune Disorders are often advanced disease states that the medical community is only beginning to understand. The rising prevalence of these diverse diseases makes sense in an increasingly stressed, over-stimulated and environmentally-toxic society. 

Although not necessarily a cure, finding sustained states of deep relaxation can be very helpful in providing relief from the symptoms of autoimmune diseases.   

The practice of yoga nidra or "yoga sleep" offers guided "meditations" that alter the practitioner's brainwave states, moving them in to alpha (R.E.M.), theta, and delta (deep sleep). Theta and Delta brainwave states are associated with reduced stress hormones and better immune function. 

With varied lengths of accessible practices, this course allows you to progressively work your way into extended yoga nidras and attain deep states of healing.

These are not flowery guided meditations; rather, they are expertly-crafted practices aimed to facilitate real change.
