Most shoulder pain can be alleviated by strengthening the upper back and rotator cuff muscles while releasing tightness in the front of the body. Our Yoga Therapy for Shoulder Pain course focuses on building strength in these key muscle groups to create better support and alignment for your shoulders. Gentle stretching techniques help open the chest and release tension in the front body, creating a balanced approach to shoulder health. The course also includes instruction for constructive rest, a powerful practice that allows the shoulders to relax and recover. This comprehensive approach offers long-term relief and improved mobility for those dealing with shoulder discomfort.

Yoga Therapy Is Targeted AND Holistic
Many yoga classes, with movements like down dogs, chaturangas, or thread-the-needle stretches, can unintentionally aggravate shoulder pain. This often stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of which muscles need to be strengthened, as well as how repetitive shoulder flexion and adduction can worsen the issue rather than alleviate it. This course approaches chronic pain holistically, offering you both physical and mental practices to get you out of pain.
